Don Balon wrote that Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde wants Manchester United’s Paul Pogba as the replacement for departed legend Andres Iniesta.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who is expected to cost €120 million, moved from Juventus to Old Trafford two years ago.
Besides the Frenchman, Valverde is also considering Juventus’ Miralem Pjanic or Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen as alternatives.
Dortmund keen on Morata
According to Talksport, Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata to spearhead their attack.
The Spanish international striker, who cost ￡58 million, scored just 15 goals in total last season.
25-year-old Morata, who is the Blues’ club record signing, is expected to cost ￡45 million.
Juve lead Golovin chase
Tuttosport reported that Juventus are in the lead to sign CSKA Moscow’s Aleksandr Golovin.
The Russian international, who has been in fine form at the World Cup, is the subject of a €20-million bid from the Serie A champions.
Besides Juve, Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona are all also interested in the 22-year-old midfielder.
Banega wants assurances before Arsenal move
According to the Mirror, Sevilla’s Ever Banega is almost ready to agree terms with Arsenal but for one thing.
The 29-year-old midfielder, who has worked with new Gunners’ boss Unai Emery at Valencia and Sevilla, wants clarification over his squad role and position before signing.
The Argentine international, who is expected to cost €12 million, is a two-time Europa League champion with the La Liga side.
PSG hope to land Lobotka
El Desmarque stated that Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Celta Vigo’s Stanislav Lobotka.

Marseille in for Schneiderlin
Tribal Football stated that Marseille are in the race to sign Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.

RMC Sport wrote that agent Mino Raiola stated that his client striker Mario Balotelli would favour a move to Marseille.

Arsenal interested in Nzonzi
According to AS, Arsenal could be set to secure their longstanding target Steven Nzonzi from Sevilla.

The Daily Mail wrote that Real Madrid have made an opening bid of €57 million for AS Roma’s Alisson.

Boca Juniors hope for Barrios’ stay
According to the Independent, Boca Juniors are making a last effort to keep Wilmar Barrios until January despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Boca have offered the 24-year-old midfielder a new deal with improved wages to keep him for their Copa Libertadores campaign.
But the Colombian international, who is currently playing at the World Cup, has a ￡14.5 million release clause.
Newcastle still keen on Kenedy
The Newcastle Chronicle wrote that Newcastle United are trying sign Chelsea’s Kenedy for a club record ￡20 million.
The 22-year-old winger, who can also play as a left-back, spent last season on loan at St James’ Park with manager Rafael Benitez a fan of the player.

The Mirror stated that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer ￡90 million to Chelsea for N’Golo Kante.
The Ligue 1 champions see the 27-year-old midfielder as the perfect fit for their side and are prepared to pay for the Frenchman.
Kante, who moved to the Blues in 2016, is contracted till 2021.
Barca offered Neymar
Barcelona have been offered an opportunity to bring back Brazilian forward Neymar to the Camp Nou from PSG claimed Marca.
It is reportedly that PSG made contact to see if the Catalan club were keen on a deal after missing out on Antoine Griezmann.
However, it is thought that Barca will struggle to raise the funds needed to complete the deal.
Rooney’s MLS debut in July?
Wayne Rooney could make his MLS bow with DC United as early as July 14 according to the Mirror.
The MLS transfer window opens on July 10, but the English striker has already applied for a work visa as his move is almost completed.

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have gotten one step close to signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Kante is currently with France preparing for the World Cup after making 89 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea over two seasons.
Paris United claim that Kante’s official representative Karim Douis and his management team are pushing for the player to join a new club.
This could all fall into place should the Blues manage to bring Jean Michael Seri from Nice. PSG must fork out a fee of around €80 million to get their man.
Inter to make player plus cash deal for Nainggolan
Corriere Dello Sport reported that Inter Milan are putting together a bid for Roma’s Belgium midfield enforcer Radja Nainggolan.
The midfielder announced his retirement from international football after being left out of Belgium’s World Cup squad but is still regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in Serie A.
Nainggolan is keen to link up with his former boss, Luciano Spalleti, but Roma are not keen to sell their star player to a rival club.

Inter’s way of sealing the deal is to offer a player on top of the estimated ￡35m cash offer and the trio of Matias Vecino, Antonio Candreva and Joao Mario are the players suggested.
Man City could turn to Seri if Jorginho says no
Manchester City will turn to Nice midfielder Seri if Napoli continue to reject their advances for Jorginho.
Patrick Vieira has just been installed as manager of Nice and his strong ties with the blue half of Manchester will be put to good use.
Sky Sports News understand Pep Guardiola’s team are monitoring Seri’s situation with Chelsea and Arsenal also keen to sign the midfielder.
The 26-year-old has 11 goals from 101 appearances for Nice and is also a member of the Ivory Coast national team where he amassed 16 international caps.
Black Cats want ￡7m for Paddy McNair
Sunderland are holding out for at least ￡7 million for midfielder Paddy McNair, according The Mirror.
The former Manchester United defender returned from injury in October last year after 11 months away from the game.
Newly-promoted Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be keen on the 23-year-old who can play in midfield and defence.

The Sun reported that Jurgen Klopp singled out Pope as the man to solve their goalkeeping crisis and Liverpool are prepared to back their manager with a ￡15m bid in the coming days.

Bonucci denies Manchester United rumours
AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci has come out to put a stop to all rumours linking him with a move away from the San Siro.
After another dismal season where they failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, Bonucci was said to have been eyeing a move to a bigger club.
Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United were rumoured to be one such club interested in the defender’s services but the Italian centre-back has refuted it.
“There is no problem whatsoever [at Milan],’ Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia. ‘I hope these rumours will be put to bed so we can build something important.”

Valencia agree €50m fee for PSG’s Guedes
Reports in Radio Montecarlo suggests Valencia have agreed a €50m deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes.
Guedes spent last season on loan at the Mestalla and became an instant hit with the supporters with his style of play.
The deal will include a sell-on clause and Guedes’ La Liga adventure is set to continue.
